Backspin the Golf Show            

                       The Valley’s top-rated golf and sports radio show since the fall of 1999, Backspin airs each Saturday from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m and each Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. on XTRA Sports Radio (910 AM). Hosted by Bill Huffman, Corey LaRusso, Jon Bloom and the “Man from Van’s,’’ Rick Levy, Backspin has been in existence since 1992. The growth of the show has been steady, but in the past two years it has literally exploded, with approximately 20,000 to 25,000 listeners each week, according to the Arbitron Ratings. With a 35,000-watt signal, the show can be heard from Flagstaff to Tucson, as well as in most corners of the state. Adding to the show’s impact, XTRA Sports (Fox Radio) in Phoenix is the No. 1 sports station in the Southwest, according to the Arbitrons.

       Includes:

• *Three one-minute commercials on each show.
• *A 10-minute segment promoting sponsor interests, with sponsor getting 50 percent input on this segment. Includes the mention of the sponsor into the segment and out of the segment.
• *One on-site (remote) broadcast per month.
• *Support and consultation services from Backspin’s foursome in production of advertisements. We’ll be part of your team.

          Cost: $5,000 per month based on a 12-month contract.

 

Package No. 2: Major sponsor of Backspin

          Includes:

• *Three one-minute commercials on each show.
• *Sponsoring a golf-related segment to promote instruction, results, equipment, business, etc., Includes the mention of the sponsor both in and out of the segment.
• **Support and consultation from Backspin’s foursome in production of advertisments. We’ll be part of your team!

          Cost: $2,500 per month based on a 12-month contract.

 

Package No. 3: Regular sponsor of  Backspin

          Includes:

• Two one-minute, or four 30-second commercials, each show.
• Support and consultation from Backspin’s foursome in production of advertisments. We’ll be part of your team!
